What is the easiest way to get elite clue scrolls? ›

There are two major methods of acquiring Sealed clue scroll (elite) in bulk, the first being killing shadow creatures in a personal slayer dungeon, and the second being pickpocketing elven clan workers.

Elite clue scrolls are usually long and complex, and take significant effort to be completed — though not more so than their master-tier counterparts. These clue scrolls have a greater list of requirements with respect to quests and item possession (for ironmen).

As a potential reward from completing any easy, medium, hard or elite treasure trails, with the chances of obtaining them being 1/50, 1/30, 1/15, and 1/5 respectively.

Another great source of Elite Clue Scrolls is Barrows, and for each brother you kill in Barrows, there is a 1 in 200 chance of getting an Elite Clue when you loot the Chest downstairs. So, in total, killing all six brothers adds up to a 1 in 33 chance of getting an Elite Clue Scroll per Barrows run.
